Strange items in Downloads folder and disposal?

Absolutely not a clue how they ( see att) got there. Can anyone give me a clue what they are for and where they would normally reside? Can I just delete them, or should I ensure they exist elsewhere?

Are you using "Advanced System Care"? One of those files is associated with that program. The others are normal files and are in the appropriate folder, I wouldn't delete them.

Yes, I am using ASC. It was highly recommended at the local computer club. Any views on that?

So the others are normal and in the right place, but I've always thought of Downloads folder as a sort of temporary repository only.

I was looking at your menu bar in the attachment which says "Gordon", when I first posted. However, I see "Download" in the lower left portion of the screen capture, which I hadn't noticed and in the Subject line...duh. Therefore, you should be able to delete those files.

Those are safe to delete without effecting your computer in any negative way. The only possible worry is if the person who downloaded those files still needs them, and that isn't even much of a worry because they could just re download them at worse case scenario. Just curious, are you or anyone you know a truck driver?

I am virtually sole user, so no worries on deletion, so the axe has fallen.
Thanks all.
