Two problems today--Administrator disabled / SSL Certificate Rejected

I don't know if these are related:
1. the Administrator problem appeared yesterday and today when I tried to post to forums, including SevenForums;
2. today, I'm unable to send email - a notice says "Server SSL Certificate Rejected: Unknown and unprovided root certificate.
Do you want to trust this certificate in future sessions?"

I can send and receive from my Comcast email web page, but I can't send from my Eudora program.
