I have Windows 7 Premium 64-bit, and several months ago installed Leo Davidson's fix to be able to view pdf thumbnails in Explorer. All was working great until recently. But now when I look at files via Explorer, thumbnails for my older pdfs are still visible, but thumbnails for pdfs generated recently (within the last 2 weeks or so) show only the Adobe icon. I can't even view the thumbnails for my recent pdfs from within the Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat 9 programs themselves, even when I have extra large icons clicked. This happens whether the pdfs are generated from Word or Excel, from within Firefox using the File-Print-Adobe pdf options from the menu bar, or using the Print Friendly button that I recently added in Firefox.
I thought maybe it had something to do with the Print Friendly button, but their support folks say no. I know Adobe, Firefox & Windows have had updates recently, so I have no clue where the problem might arise. Has anyone else experienced this? I've re-installed Print Friendly, updates to Adobe Reader, & the fix per Leo's advice, but still have this problem. Thought I'd check for answers from this end. I would greatly appreciate any help you folks can provide.
