Use of Windows Indexing to look inside PDF's and use in HTML

I have a website where I would like to allow a user to search within a collection of PDFs (i.e., searching the text) and to display on a webpage the file name associated with the successful searches so that users can download those files. Is this possible? If so any help would be appreciated.
