Windows 7: Folder behavior? and wierd copy error

hi all

i have this wierd problem.
when i am this preveiw pane activated in my folder my windows begin to act strange.
when i have the preview pane active, and i single-left-click on a word doc, and i push CTRL+A for mark all docs in the folder, its marks all text in the preview pane to the right:S i have tried to click the default settings for folder.
but did not help? i dont have this issue when i am remove the preview pane or either on my laptop i have this issue.


and one thing more, when i am copy files from one folder to another folder, if the file name are the same, it just make a COPY without asking me?
normally windows ask me if i wanna make a copy, overwrite it.

what the heck is wrong ?
