HP ProBook 1320s Laptop not Booting up..

I noticed something loose within my laptop, the bios battery became unsecure and was on my motherboard close by. I put it back into its appropriate place and then reassembled my laptop entirely. Now, using only the battery power, it powers up for about 8 seconds, turns off and then blinks once afterwards. If I have ths powercord plugged into it, it will do nothing, no power up at all and so I went online. Any suggestions?

Could be bad power adapter, power port, battery discharged. Reassembling a laptop is a very risky operation, and having a loose CMOS battery laying on mobo would be even riskier.

I'd try another power adapter, check the power port connection inside and out. If necessary disassemble and rebuild. I've never risked this with any but a disposable laptop.
