Uninstall McCrappee completely - its as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike, and is a major cause of many of the problems we solve on these forums - replace it with MSE.

Has this cured your problems?

I entirely agree with Golden that you should remove McAfee from your syatem if you want live peacefully.

Go with Microsoft Security Essential in-lieu.

Use the McAfee Consumer Product Removal Tool (MCPR.exe)

Download and detailed instructions here: How to uninstall or reinstall supported McAfee products using the Consumer Products Removal tool (MCPR)

Note: You must first use the Windows Uninstaller and then MCPR.
