| | A 32 bit application canot run in windows7 Home basic 64 bit pleas hel Hello experts , I am new to this forum . I bought a laptop sony vio Eserise .I tired too install a software named leap office (I think it might be 32 /16 bit application.See here C-DAC: GIST - Products - LEAP Office 2000). I can install it without any error . But it shows an error as follows .  Please help me |

| | This is a very old program that was designed for Windows 3.1 and Windows 95. It is not Windows 7 compatible. This is from the FAQ page on the site: . At least to get XP Mode for free. Not sure if it will even run on Home Premium. Or you could install a Virtual Machine software program like VMware Player or their Workstation program or Virtualbox and thenn install a version of XP into a Virtual Machine. |

| Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 7601 Multiprocessor Free Service Pack 1 Hertfordshire | You mentioned it may be 16bit. There is no support for 16bit software in the 64bit version of Windows 7. There is in the 32bit Windows 7. |
