Windows 7: Queries regarding 'All Program List'

Hello Everybody,
I want to know that can I customise the 'All Program List' in the
start menu of Windows 7.Also what will happen if I delete some items from
the 'All Program List' of start menu?Does they also get deleted
from 'Program Files' in C drive?Does they get uninstall due to this
action?
Also what happen if I delete some files & folders from
'Program Files' of C drive?Does they automatically get
uninstall due to this action?Can I still execute the programs associated with
these program files or they no no longer executable?
Also tell me that how to restore the program files if
I accidentally delete them?
I will be very very thankful if anybody answer to all my above
queries.

i believe the all programs are shortcuts, if you right click them and select properties it shows as a shortcut.
i dont think deleting from program files will uninstall an item as there may/will be registry entries etc, However there is a good chance of stopping a software from working correctly if you do.

quickest way to restore files removed in accident, if they are not in the recycle bin or the software wont work is to do a system restore.
