jump lists location

Does anyone know where the jump lists are stored? It's got to be in the registry somewhere, but I can't find it.

I don't have that destination. I would assume you would have to un check Hide protected operating system files in Folder Options to see it, but I only have Recent Items, and there's no jumplist list stored in there.

I am not a coder. I am beginning to think that Windows uses a file's extension to ref a prog's AppID to define the menu presented. The files are stored in Recent as always - what the JumpList does is PFM.

I am certainly not spot on.

Good job, Ken.

Now I half-know more about JumpLists than I can ever use. I have always half-known to wait for you and your tools.

So if I wanted to manually add or edit jump list items, how would I do that?
