Computer randomly restarts (sometimes crash) while using. Hi, I'm kind of a newbie to all this computer stuff but I know some basics of computers.
A few months back, my computer won't boot at all, and I had to reformat all of my partitions and do a complete reinstall. After that, my computer keep restarting by itself and sometimes give me the BSoD while using.
By now, I've tried many methods to correct this problem but nothing's work. I've tried booting the computer in safe mode and my computer did not restart by itself. I've also updated my drivers.
I also used IOBit Advanced SystemCare tool's to detect the problem. The other test I did was the Memtest86+ and passed 4 times. The laptop's temperature is between 45-50 C. | My System Specs |

Compared to the folks on this site, I am a total newbie as well. I am curious, what error message are you getting with the BSOD?
My first guess is that you need a new hard drive but I am interested to hear what those much smarter than me have to say. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Buid OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 CPU AMD FX 8150 Motherboard ASUS Sabertooth 990FX Memory CORSAIR vengeancce 16GB DDR3 PC1600 Graphics Card Radeon HD 5770 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 Sound Card Onboard audio Monitor(s) Displays 2 X 23.5" LG LED LCD Screen Resolution 1920 x 1080 PSU KINGWIN 80 Plus Gold Certified 550W Case Lian Li LanCool First Knight series mid-ATX Hard Drives System Drive: Crucial C300 128GB SSD SATA III

Well, I did what the tutorial says which is to upload the memory dump into the .zip folder. But anyways, here a few examples of BSoDs that I got
*** STOP 0x0000008E (0xC0000005, 0x92E48128, 0xADD5BBDC, 0X00000000)
*** win32K.sys - Address 92E48128 base at 92D80000, Datestamp 5006f6b3
The ones I regularly got;
MEMORY_MANAGEMENT

When I had the random restarts it was a sign that my motherboard was failing. | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 |

I don't think hardware is the problem here because when I boot it in Safe Mode, this problem did not happen. It only happen when I boot it normally. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Acer Aspire D250-1DQk OS Windows 7 Professional 32bit CPU Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU N280 @ 1.66GHz Motherboard Acer Aspire one Memory 2.00 GB Graphics Card Mobile Intel(R) 945 Express Chipset Family Sound Card Realtek High Definition Audio Screen Resolution 1024 x 600 x 32 bits (4294967296 colors) @ 60 Hz |

Hi,
Kindly follow the below mentioned steps in order:
Boot to Safe mode and perform system restore. System Restore will affect Windows system files, programs, and registry settings only. If system restore fails or unable to access safe mode, follow next step.
Run Start Up repair from the URL mentioned: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-GB/windows-vista/Startup-Repair-frequently-asked-questions
If the issue still persists, then try running the Hardware Diagnostics. If you get any error code, make a note of the error code. | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Enterprise x64 |

That happened with mine too until right before the very end which added to the confusion. | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 |

One way to check form software errors is to use the selective start up. Control panel > administrative tools > selective startup. Check hide all Microsoft processes and then disable all the remaining programs. Reboot and see if the problem occurs. If not, then go back to selective startup and check half of the processes and restart. If the problem still does not occur, check the other half while the previous ones are disabled. If you get the same problem, then you uncheck half of the ones you checked. Now you have a quarter of the programs running. If it happens again, keep reducing the number until you find the program. Of course, if it is hardware related I would expect the problem to occur regardless of the start up programs. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Buid OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 CPU AMD FX 8150 Motherboard ASUS Sabertooth 990FX Memory CORSAIR vengeancce 16GB DDR3 PC1600 Graphics Card Radeon HD 5770 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 Sound Card Onboard audio Monitor(s) Displays 2 X 23.5" LG LED LCD Screen Resolution 1920 x 1080 PSU KINGWIN 80 Plus Gold Certified 550W Case Lian Li LanCool First Knight series mid-ATX Hard Drives System Drive: Crucial C300 128GB SSD SATA III

Well I've followed your steps but all the startup repair did was doing a system restore and the problem still persist. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Acer Aspire D250-1DQk OS Windows 7 Professional 32bit CPU Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU N280 @ 1.66GHz Motherboard Acer Aspire one Memory 2.00 GB Graphics Card Mobile Intel(R) 945 Express Chipset Family Sound Card Realtek High Definition Audio Screen Resolution 1024 x 600 x 32 bits (4294967296 colors) @ 60 Hz |

The problem is still there....since I just did a clean install, there's not much software in my computer.
I think this has to do with the driver, but I think all my drivers are updated. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Acer Aspire D250-1DQk OS Windows 7 Professional 32bit CPU Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU N280 @ 1.66GHz Motherboard Acer Aspire one Memory 2.00 GB Graphics Card Mobile Intel(R) 945 Express Chipset Family Sound Card Realtek High Definition Audio Screen Resolution 1024 x 600 x 32 bits (4294967296 colors) @ 60 Hz Computer randomly restarts (sometimes crash) while using. problems?
