Apps stoped working "...has stopped working" after sleep power off

I have a strange error. Certain applications just stop working after a while. It's happened after my computer has been in sleep mode - and electricity went off due to some in-house repairs. I suspect this is the cause of the problem - but don't really know for sure.

The apps (mainly two games for now, and a couple of well... errors in .NET framework) were working ok before. The HW requirements is ok. I did system restore - but it said that nothing was affected. So.... before I go and reinstall graphic, network, directX,... drivers etc.: can anybody please help me? Don't know what to do...
