    Delete tab in windows explorer


    Hi,Just found a link in this forum to add the add the ''Delete tab'' in windows explorer.
    I'm running windows 7.
    I followed the link below and did the install reg item,Upon opening the down load open the registry item right click and clicked yes then on the next step i had this box popping up.


    Reg Link here..Windows Explorer - Add or Remove Delete Button

    Any further help here please.

    Try opening regedit as an administrator and then using the file->import and choose that reg file.

    In the Windows start menu under "Search program and files" type "regedit" this will locate the regedit program. Right click on the program name in the search list. The right click menu will open with one option being Run As Administrator(Refer to link above). After doing so the program will open. Click the File->Import from the top menu bar.

    Note: Modifying the registry without understanding the impact it will have on your machine is risky. Do so at your own risk and understand that you may need to reinstall Windows if you fail to take the correct steps while in there.

    Please post a screenshot of all three registry entries and their permissions for "Administrators".

    After Right click on the program name in the search list.this is what comes up

    As from what I can tell you may have missed a permission in Step 4 or not set one correct.
