| Windows 7 Home Premium x64 3 posts | "Windows Shell Common Dll has stopped working" when editing file assns I had mp3s set to open in Spotify by default, but now I have to select what program to open them in every time I click on a song. When I try to edit the file association for mp3s I get the "Windows Shell Common Dll has stopped working" error, but I scan my pc regularly and I haven't had any problems. I don't remember if I downloaded any software right before it happened, though I doubt it. I guess I must have changed something, but I have no idea what it could be. Any advice on how to fix this problem or maybe just work around it? |
