Taskbar system tray hides icons even option is unchecked

ok a simple issue I hope
In my taskbar sytem tray icons will be enclosed in this bubble thing with the arrow on it it collects icons to save space. (sorry no idea what its called)
options in notification area are set to show all icons, but it persists to put icons in that bubble..it is not the balloon notification I'm talking about.
I would like simply that it does not hide icons in this bubble.
thanks in advance Vagablonde

Well that`s what ticking the box is supposed to do.

You`ve done that and yet all your icons still do not appear ?

Another way would be to check to show each and every icon and notification.

I have no idea for ya then. Checking that box and clicking ok should show all icons permanently. Maybe someone else will have an idea.

This is your personal pc, correct. You are the admin, correct ?

hello Addram
yes it is my personal computerand I am the admin of it,I just recently switched from 7 home to professional
and since then i have this issue,I know the basic steps but this is not cooperating with me.
I am not familiar enough with group policy to know if in there is a setting to maybe force this.

For what it's worth, I have the same problem on my PC running Win 7 Ultimate but not on the Home Premium edition. Never did get it to work and eventually gave up trying.
