My pictures folder is empty. I didn’t delete it and show hidden files is turned on properties shows it contains over 1MB. How do I get the pictures back?
In your first post you state the pictures folder is gone. In this post, you state it's empty. First thing, how did you get the folder back?

Shawn/Brink -I don’t feel technically qualified to edit my registry. Can I use the other option? Herm

But option 2 requires editing the Registry. Option 1 is the first choice, if that doesn't work you need to go to Option 2. Short of a complete re install of Windows 7 I don't think you have much shoice if you want to re instate your Pictures folder!
