Restored system, repaired OS,set load all drivers during startup via msconfig, nothing seems to help. This is pretty annoying, nobody has a clue?Mentioning Net framework, cause it was the last thing i messed up before restarting and getting that popup.
Call of Duty asked for net framework 4 to be installed, didnt remember that i already had it,downloaded it,tried to install, recommended repair, followed and noticed afterwards that inbetween windows starting and welcome screen,i am getting the no signal sign from my monitor.
Already restored system,i even backed up from an image with no avail.Uninstalled every framework update,no result.I uninstalled the game as well.
Thats my point, considering that the system,is in 'top' shape, how can i get rid of that signal, even if its not a framework issue?I am mentioning framework, because it was the last thing i messed up with. How do i get monitor's default behaviour back?Dont ask for an installation cd,dont have it anymore.
Another thought would be update the monitor driver. I know that it worked with the current driver in the past, but something has changed and a driver update "may" solve the problem and then again it "may not".
You can try this as a possible fix. Turn off the computer and disconnect the power supply. Then disconnect the monitor input from the computer and wait about 5 minutes. Aterwards, reconnect and put the power cord back. This has worked on some systems with monitor problems.
HTH
GPU has two output slots, changed to the other one and issue gone.I am thinking that, one of them slots is primary and does not look up for secondary monitor, which could explain the momentary no signal sign.By the way,i ll leave framework on the bench, since it could be a culprit for oncomming issues,as stated.Marking as solved. Thanks for being there.
