Right click a blank place in the folder and select properties and the Customize tab. Then pick Optimize this folder and choose one you like, Apply.
This may help, run the steps outlined in this tutorial, Option Two, and reboot the system:
SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker
If that doesn't correct the issue, run it two or more times with a reboot between.
You may get this result:
Or a message that no integrity violations were found.Code:Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them. Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log The system file repair changes will take effect after the next reboot.
Or that Windows Resource Protection found errors it cannot repair, if so rerun the steps above.
no violations were found
Still unable to solve but thanks for youe time buddy
Hello Beret,
You migh see if using the method in the tutorial below to set this for all folders may help.
Folder View - Set a Default for All Folders
Hope this helps, :)
Shawn
What folder is this for?
Could you post a screenshot showing this to see if it may help reveal a possible cause?
You might try resetting all folder views to default.
Afterwards, try using the tutorial below again to set all folders to have the "General Items" template (step 1) with large icons (step 2).
Here it is .................. I aply setting in any way these are reset once folder is reopened
