Our warehouse has been having issues with printing from QB. When they print over the network, sometimes the .spl and .shd files are created in the print spooler, but the files don't always reach the printer. If they don't print the temp files are not deleted from the spooler, which is to be expected; however, this shuts down the print spooler service in Windows. It happens mostly in QB, but has extended to printing an HTML page in Google Chrome once or twice now.
When the spooler stops, all printers, network and local, are removed from the devices and printers until the temp files are deleted out of the spooler and the service is manually restarted. Has anyone come accross this issue? Is there a known fix?
