No titles or letters on desktop on bootup

    ok so i hope im doin g this right. i typed in:

    \windows\logs\CBS\CBS.log

    my reply read Access is denied
      My Computer

    ok i think this is what you mean. sorry i really am new to this trouble shooting.

    i entered:
    \windows\logs\CBS\CBS.log

    reply:
    Access is denied
      My Computer

    I wanna see what the contents is of C:\windows\logs\CBS\CBS.log!!!

    im sorry but i dont have anyone to turn to that knows what they are doing. If i did then i wouldnt be bothering you for help i just moved to a new town and really dont know of anyone here.

    if you are asking for me to go tot he start menu for the log then I cant. i click on the start menu and the only thing that pops up is a small box that is empty pops up.

    Oh my.....

    KaKtus was asking you to attach the CBS.log to a post.

    you'll have to copy the CBS.log to one of your folders first.

    in an elevated command prompt (right click command prompt -> run as administrator) type:
    cd %userprofile%\downloads
    copy C:\windows\logs\cbs\cbs.log
    exit

    then
    Create a new post here on the forum, click on the paper clip on the post menu, browse to %userprofile%\downloads and select cbs.log
    upload
    close window
    submit post
