Folders not opening properly in windows 7

Hello, I've been experiencing a weird problem, when I download a file with IDM (Internet Download manager) and when the dialog pop up to choose "open containing folder" the folder doesn't open directly but it gives me a yellow highlight down there on the taskbar.

I want the folder to open directly, if anyone could help I'd be very appreciated.
