Page file settings

On 4gb memory, Win7's default setting was to let the computer manage the page file, and it leaves it at 4gb, also. Is this the optimal choice to leave it like that?

Depending on the computers amount of ram I usually raise or lower it. Though my main computer has 4gb and I usually just let windows manage it.

Things are fine you I assume, so I wouldn't bother changing it.

Hello Eli,

I would recommend to leave it set to the default settings as well. If it needs more space, Windows 7 will automatically adjust the size as needed.

Suddenly losing Home Page settings in IE8
In both my 32 bit and 64 bit version of IE 8 (ver. 8.0.7601.17514)...whenever I close and open the browser the Home Page reverts to about:blank. Whether I change the home page in an open internet tools session...or close the browser and change via control panel/internet options...upon restart...

i disabled the pagefile on C AND D drive and restarted my computer but in task manager it says my commit memory is 3 Gb which is the pagefile but how can i disable all of the pagefile
