BOOTMGR is missing press ctrl+alt+del to restart
i apologize at the very beginning for being a complete idiot..
so i couldn't get the startup repair to appear on pressing f11 at the time of startup, so that i could restore to factory settings.
I read somewhere and followed the following steps:
1.Right-click on "Computer" icon and select manage.
2.This will launch the Microsoft Management Console.
3.On the left side of the MMC, click on "Disk Management" and it will show you all of the partitions.
4.Right-click on the "HP Recovery" partition and select "Mark as Active Partition."
5.When the warning prompt appears, select "Yes" - Reboot and it will automatically boot into the Recovery Manager (without pressing F11).
And step 5 never happened...instead this is what i got:
BOOTMGR is missing press ctrl+alt+del to restart
on restarting and pressing esc, i get
f1 system information
f2 system diagnostics
f9 boot device options
f10 BIOS setup
f11 system recovery
nothing works and I don't even have recovery disks(
(I know I am the dumb)..plus I don't have access to any other windows computer and my hospital software only works on windows so i need help
