1- Open the notepad

2- Paste this:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Sidebar\Settings]
"SidebarDockedPartsOrder"="0x1,0x2,0x3,0x4"
"AllowElevatedProcess"=dword:00000001

3- Save as something.reg and enjoy the gadgets even if the UAC is turned off
Im with the gadgets working right now with the UAC off without problems

Thank you Solid004!

I was wondering why I could not get Gadgets to work in Windows 7, and now I know it's because I disabled UAC.

Off to make some changes to my Registry!!

Mine are all there like before. Strange. Must be Microsoft trying to punish us for attempting to turn off UAC.
