| | External Storage O/A 22 Oct I will be upgrading my x64 laptop to Windows 7 from Vista HP. After I upgrade and updates I'm thinking of purchasing a SATA external storage device for creating a backup of my entire system. My current C & D drives total content is 110GB and I don't know what Windows 7 will add or reduce that number. | | I would suggest you get a 2.5 Inch USB powered disk of 300 to 500GBs. Those are the handiest for laptops, but any USB attached disk will run on your laptop. The cost should be in the $60 to $80 range. Here are the "daily specials" ( Deals2buy: Storage Devices deals ).
