    Start Menu: Search button/link missing

Start Menu - Add or Remove Search Button

Both of the Search buttons/links pointed at by the Red Arrow are missing in my Start Menu.

Likewise, when I right-click Start/Properties, there is no "Search" by itself in the list.

Is there a way to place it there?

Maybe you're wondering why I'm asking the question when, having clicked on the link, you see I'm right there on the tutorial page. The reason is twofold: I'm leery of doing anything to the registry. And, having installed Classic Shell, I'm not quite sure if my computer is still Windows 7. I'm actually pleased with what my Windows Explorer now looks like. It's only now that I've discovered it's possible to designate variables in the Libraries Search window. I'd just like to be able to initiate searches from the Start Menu.
