Split 7GB Windows Image into 2 DVD! Help

    Hello,

    How are you guys doing?

I have a 7.24 Gb Windows 8 .iso file. How do I split it so that it would burn into 2 dvds for installation?

I don’t want to buy any 8GB DVD and I don’t have USB.

Is there an application that can do the job? Please help.

Because i have a lot of Blank and brand new DVD’s around 50+

I believe 7Lite will split an ISO into multiple disks although I've never used it. I know Vlite will.

But it might be quicker to do a Clean Reinstall, following these same steps to get it perfect: Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7.

In the future save your backup images to external to re-image when necessary in 20 minutes using the Win7 DVD or Repair CD: Backup Complete Computer - Create an Image Backup
    System Image Recovery

This previous Forum thread may help:

How to burn a big *.ISO file into 2 DVDs ?

I respect your desire to use your unused DVDs. But DVDs often prove to be very unreliable due to scratches, less than optimum burn speeds, etc. And from personal experience, it's always the last disk that seems to get corrupted.

I have seen this thread. it want me to use USB or Magic iso. But i am already using Magic iso and there is no way to burn 2 dvds from 1 iso file.
