    Explorer.exe crash || Faulting module:ntdll.dll file

    Its been months that my explorer.exe is crashing at least once a day. I used event viewer to get this detail

    Code:
    Faulting application name: Explorer.EXE, version: 6.1.7601.17567, time stamp: 0x4d672ee4
    Faulting module name: ntdll.dll, version: 6.1.7601.17725, time stamp: 0x4ec4aa8e
    Exception code: 0xc0000374
    Fault offset: 0x00000000000c40f2
    Faulting process id: 0x61c
    Faulting application start time: 0x01cdc6fb9dd6c2c4
    Faulting application path: C:\Windows\Explorer.EXE
    Faulting module path: C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll
    Report Id: 01ebd486-333e-11e2-b71d-c8093af8a2d4
    I have ran sfc /scannow many times, even in safe mode. System restore wont work because it is happening for months.
    Should I download this ntdll.dll file and replace the current one? I wanted to confirm it before doing so.

    If you have the install DVDs, you should reinstall the ntdll.dll from them.

    Therefore you'll have to rename the corrupted ntdll.dll to "ntdll.dll.old" then restart your computer with the DVDs and run a repair install

    Try also a System Recovery Options or System Repair Disc (if you don't own the DVDs)

    It looks quit tough to manage but if you follow instructions, you should be fine.

    If your using Firefox, some says to enable cookies in the Tool =>Options=> Privacy tab.

    Could be Software CD/DVD Burners (Daemon Tools) or Graphics drivers to reinstall/update. Also Winamp and Winrar. The list is quit long...!
