Windows 7: win 7 security, enter network password

win 7 security, enter network password

I have win 7 home premium 64 bit on two computers. While on computer 2 I can see and access files and folders on computer 1. However, when I attempt to access files and folders on computer 2 from computer 1 a windows security window pops up Saying "Enter Network Password" with a box for "User name" and "Password". Win 7 64 bit was installed on computer 2 first, followed by another win 7 64 bit on computer 1. The C drive on both computers is a new solid state drive.

I have spent hours reading different solutions on forums to no avail. Both computers are in the same home group with "40 & 56 bit file sharing" selected and password protection disabled. Each computer has the same username as administrator. I have activated "guest" as a user account on each computer. I have set sharing permissions correctly (I assume).

I am at my wit's end. Can someone help.

Thanks,
