could anyone tell me, when i click start and then computer up comes the page and shows me the drives but it doesnt have the blue bar on them to tell me how much free space is on them. how do i set this so i can see the free space.

Hello zebdog,

Using the tutorial below to reset your folder views back to default may fix this for you.

Folder View Settings - Reset All to Default

Try this. Click Start > Computer > View > Choose details...
A dialog box should open and allow you to select various options to show, such as "Free Space". You may have to reboot the computer for the change(s) to take effect.
