    Hide/Remove UAC Admin Password Request

    Hi,

I am using a Win 7 Standard User account and Built-in Admin is activated.

I just want to delete/hide the bottom portion of the UAC message (please refer to screenshot) where it asks for the admin password. Since i don't have one, I just leave it blank and click Yes.

Previous UAC messages didn't ask for the password, just the upper portion.

    Appreciate the help. Thank you.

    Hello JBN,

When you are logged into a standard user account, then this is normal to get a UAC prompt whenever you try to run or do anything that requires the elevated rights of an administrator. A standard user must enter an administrator's password first.

Other than being logged into a normal administrator account (not built-in Admin) to not have to enter a password, you could use the tutorial below create an elevated shortcut in your built-in Admin account that the standard account can use and not get a UAC prompt at all.

    Elevated Command Prompt Shortcut

    Hope this helps, :)
