Windows 7: Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit Credentials Manager

Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit Credentials Manager

I have a Win 7 Ultimate 64bit and a Win 7 Ultimate 32bit computer on a AT&T Wireless network.

In order to see the other computer, I must set the Credentials Manager tab "Windows Credentials" to "No Windows Credentials". For the 32bit box (this is a laptop) this is fine. But on the 64bit box (this is a desktop) every time I reboot this machine, the Credentials Manager tab "Windows Credentials" resets to "Laptop". Because of this, the 32bit (Laptop) cannot see the 64bit (Desktop) box. I have to go into the Credentials Manager on the desktop system and remove from the vault the Windows Credentials.

What is causing the reset to Laptop in the Windows Credentials on the 64bit box, and how can I prevent it from resetting the Windows Credentials back to Laptop following every reboot of the 64bit machine?

Thanks for your help.
Ed
