Time zone random resets from GMT to Pacfic time

Once in a while I find that the time zone moves from GMT to Pacific Time.

Has anyone any idea what would cause this, new CMOS battery fitted, which ever time zone shows the time is correct for that zone. Checked the BIOS and that also changes.

I dual boot two Win 7 installations

    Thanks in advance.

Yes both are activated, both from original Win 7 Ultimate dvd and not upgrades.
    All latest MS updates installed.

    Layback Bear

I have checked the default location on both OS's and the Time Zone was correct, I added the Zip code as this was missing. The other regional settings were correct.
I will have to keep an eye on the clock each time I bootup and if this problem reappears check the event log in case anything shows up there.

Simple question, simple answer, after about a year running an OS and loading and deleting all sorts of programs, I do a fresh instal on another partition and over time I tune this to my requirements and then it becomes the default OS leaving the old one as the hack for trying out applications that may or may not be useful.
I have found that Win 7 is much more tolerant of this type use.
