computer won't start after using recovery system/windows couldn't inst

hello,
I did a recovery system to my computer and when it was restarting i accidentally unplugg the computer so when i turn the computer back on, the computer starts with a message saying "setup is starting service" then i get another message saying "windows could not complete the installation. to install windows on this computer, restart the installation" i click ok on the message then i get another one just saying setup will continue after restaring your computer and is the same thing everytime i try to boost the computer. I'm not sure what to do or if I should just buy windows 7 home premium (which iswhat the computer came with) and install it but i'm not sure if this is the way to fix the problem can anyone give me any advice, also i've been looking at windows 7 Hp and there is the full version and the 64-bit - System Builder (OEM) which should i get?

thanks in advince.

You don`t have to buy anything, you already bought windows with the pc.

Do you have an activation key somewhere on your pc ?

Is this a recovery partition that you are using to recover the system or the manufacturer's recovery discs that you burned when brand new or an actual MS windows 7 disc?

What you need to do is a format of the C: drive on the hard disc first then start the recovery again.

You can do a fresh clean install using this tutorial, but you will loose everything on your pc. Read it carefully b4 you start.

Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7

It just won`t let you do a factory restore from the boot screen ?

i didn't use a recovery disc or windows 7 disc so i'm guessing it was recovery partition, the one that comes in the control panel menu.

i go to the boost menu and i dont see any factory restore option. i'm not good with computer so maybe i'm not doing it right

You have to let us know what your pc is, we have no idea how to advise you.
Is it still under warranty ? Do you still have support from the manufacterer ?

You may have really botched the recovery process by unplugging it.

It seems you used system restore not the recovery partition.

System restore only restores your computer to an earlier time either earlier in the day or previous day/s or weeks. It does not re-install windows.

i have an e-machine model: el1852g and the warranty expired last june so i don't have one and i do think the unplugging might have harm the computer completely but i just wanted to look for some solutions before i give up on it.

ohh i see... but how come it did mess up with it that now i get the whole windows installation message? maybe it was the unplugging while it was restarting, idk do you know of anything i can do even if you dont i do appreciate taking your time and replying my post

If in the middle of the recovery process then unplugging can mess things up and have funny side effects you are facing now.

When you switch on the desktop keep pressing F8 until you see a menu offering you safe mode and other options if you are able to and scroll down and choose Last known good configuration and press enter.

See if that works please let us know.
