Dual-Monitor Advice
Hello, guys. Sorry for posting another thread to ask questions and if this is in the wrong section, please pardon me and help me shift it, thanks.
So, recently, my 3 years old Acer monitor (P193W - 19" - 1440 x 900) has give way, it started being flickering during normal usage and I decided to look around for other monitors. I have saw one 21" Dell monitor going off cheap. And since I'm a student, I don't need powerful monitor and price is a major concern. I was wondering;
I understand that my game FPS will reduce but by approx. how much? Most of the games I play are already not on max settings but I still get good FPS (~75 FPS) on High to Medium setting. I only intend to use the new monitor to game and the current one as an 'extended' monitor to web-browse or look at tutorial during gaming and not going to dual-monitor on my games since the bezel is quite big. Will going into a larger monitor be a concern of FPS dropping if I only want to go on one monitor completely.
Does the response time be a concern for me? I noticed in the market that there are 5ms ~ 2ms response time, I did some research and they said that response time doesn't matter, just make sure they are all within 5ms. Also with regards to that, does colour contrast be a major concern to me? Like 1M:1 or something like that.
Sorry for the question, it's my first time doing this and was hoping for an answer. Thank you and pardon my English.
