Date and time change when i turn on computer

    Date and time change when i turn on computer


    When i turn on computer date is always in 2002 year and time is different then real..
    What could be the cause of this and how could I fix this?

    Please update your system specs so we may be able to better help with your specific hardware.

    System Info - See Your System Specs


    For now, it seems that you motherboard CMOS battery may be dead or close to it, and needs replacing. In addition, double check your BIOS CMOS time and date to make sure it's correct. Next, double check your time zone and date & time settings in Windows to make sure they are correct.

    Hi Roma, How old is the PC , ? It may be the CMOS battery needs changing on the motherboard
