Strange files in my C Drive

I just found a bunch of files in my C Drive and don't know what they are?

i think they might be related to Steam, which installs drivers when you download new games.

Anyway I opened on of the text files and it says this-

**You have received the software as part of the Visual Studio 9.0 Beta Program.
Will attach the text file as well.

Anyone know what this is and what I should do?

I have never encountered the files on my system, but the link I provided states they are temp files. I would suggest placing them in the recycle bin for a period of time and test the results; if everythings appears normal, delete them sometime in the future.

I think they are created when you install a game that uses visual c+ re-distributable. So they probably were put there when you installed a game with steam.

I deleted all mine and it didnt break the system. I also deleted the ones that say install.
