The select color in file explorer

    Hi there ,

In Windows Explorer (file explorer) in thumbnail view or large icon view , when selecting a file or folder , it is highlighted in a color. This color for me has always been
a light blue-ish color which I am not liking that much. Please teach me how I can change the color of selected icons in explorer or multiple selected item with pressing CTRL .,

    Thank you

    Ralph

From what I found doing Google Searches, the answer is no, at least not easily. You would have to create a new Theme with the color you wanted and that would preclude the use of downloaded themes from Microsoft.

You can change the color for some selections but not what you see in Windows explorer via:

Control Panel, Personalization, Windows Color, Advanced Appearance Settings.
Chose Selected Items from the Item: drop down then pick the color you want.
