@ TylerD,

Not every computer has to be Top Notch. Do a search for some of the " Dinosaurs " I have put Win7 on. That makes for a not so boring a project. I get the biggest kicks out of finding old computers in " Thrift Shops " and seeing what I can salvage from them & make something that works.

Enjoy Win7 " It will be What You Make of It !!! "

Not on, not on majorgeeks, not on It's like, after a few basic apps are installed, there's nothing I need, and little tweaking to do!

HELP, I'm getting bored coz it's just too good and nothing to do, LOL
Up until yesterday I would have agreed with you. But then I got the dreaded blue screen - twice. Funnily though on both occasions it happened while trying to access the house party website for the Windows 7 launch party. Ive been running 7RC for several months now and that has been the only reason that Ive seen the blue screen. Thats got to be a record for Microsoft

Maybe you should be out looking for some new challenges - e.g. buy an SSD. That will keep you busy for a while.

That house party site is a disaster, imo.

Just give me my party pack and I'm outta there.

I use True Launch Bar and it auto-hides. That way I have no icons on my Desktop, just gadgets!

New Windows boring, release "classic" Windows
Hello, as you have guessed I am new here and I have been using Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit for over a year. I guess I am feeling memories, but it's been getting kind of dry and boring recently. Will or can Microsoft ever release a "classic" Windows-like OS in the future?
