    Welcome to the forum!

You can change that, as well as many other option here: Control Panel - All Control Panel Items - Power Options.

Under your Power Plan choose Advanced Power Options, then under Sleep set Hibernate to an hour ideally.

This allows it to save your work and shut down if you don't return after it sleeps, then when you start it up it starts twice as fast and has your work where you left it.

Let us know how this works.
