It does have tools used to run Recovery partition from boot and boot files though the OS is booted from C.

So you are absolutely correct that I would not delete it unless you decide to Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7.

Now if you could tell us if your Disk Mgmt proves its an MBR or GPT disk we can tell you if you have an EFI install which is quite a bit different than a normal MBR install and would be good for your to know for future reference in case you need to repair or reinstall. I gave you the steps to determine this earlier several times.

Why are you formatting Asus Recovery? You said you want to keep it functioning?

Does Disk Mgmt rightclick as shown say "Convert to GPT?" That would mean it's MBR.
