    Computer boot hanging. classpnp.sys

Hello, my brother's computer's video card crashed when he attempted to play Metro 2033 on his Windows 7 x64 machine. Rebooting, it hung on the Windows logo and didn't do anything. So, I tried booting into safe mode, only to see it hang on AVG drivers. I booted into a AVG Rescue disk and renamed the AVG drivers. Rebooted again, and saw it hung on classpnp.sys. Put in a Windows 7 repair disk and it hangs on "Setup is starting.."

    Any help is appreciated.

Boot into Win7 DVD or Repair CD System Recovery Options to run Startup Repair. It should offer System Restore, if not run it Manually from Options menu if necessary.

If this fails work through all of the steps for Troubleshooting Windows 7 Failure to Start
