windows 7 is stuck on the please wait screen

Your posts are jumbled to where they're nearly incomprehensible so most will just move on.

I thing you're trying to say the power went out, but did the battery run down too. Normally a laptop will go into sleep or hibernate before just cutting out after power loss and/or when battery runs down.
