Don`t worry about that, it doesn`t matter. Just get the iso downloaded and put it on the usb drive. Post back when you get that done. Is it almost done downloading ?

The USB 3.0 port should be blue, but it will still work in the USB 2.0 ports also.

You really don`t have to change the boot sequence, just use the function key to choose what you want to boot from. Watch the screen during bootup and it should tell you which key to hit to bring up the boot menu. ( not the bios menu )

It may take you a few boots to find it. It ususally says it at the bottom of the screen.

I don't think he is going to make it with all the confusing instructions you guys post. Best is he uses the Paragon Migration Tool and he'll be done with it in 3 clicks.

Paragon Migrate OS to SSD - System migration to Solid State Drives (SSD) - Overview
I think the above is the best thing for him because it is the easiest to understand without all of the other way's to do it. For all of ye it seems easy but i remember when i was starting out on IT it was confusing. But i use paragon migration, which is good also i use hirens ghost copy which i think is very good also. so i would go with the above comment has it's quick and easy.

Try the "Esc" key, that's what it is on my HP laptop.
