    Problem with RAID 1

    I just set up a RAID 1 array today with 2 WD Caviar Green HDD's, and they have been re-synching for about 5 hours, and they are only at about 50%. I am using Windows 7 Software RAID. If anyone else has done this before, please let me know if this is normal or if there is something wrong.

    In your image there is a yellow triangle with an exclamation point next to drive 2 which means that Windows has identified a problem of some kind with that device.

    I have never encountered the problem, but usually device manager will have details;

    How to run the Windows Device Manager from the Command Line or Start->Run prompt
    1. Go to Start->Run.
    2. Type “devmgmt.msc” (without the quotes) and hit “OK”

    Look for the triangle next to one of the entries.
