    The line above the bolded line was more informative. The picture looks identical to the Microsoft branded reciever, so I assumed it was the same thing.

    But it looks the same, so it might be a chinese knockoff. In which case, the hardware and driver may be identical to the microsoft version (but that's not definitive).

    If you had already purchased it, I'd wait for it to come in then try it with the microsoft drivers and it's 32-bit drivers. If niether work, then sell it and get the official version that supports 64 -bit Windows.
