    Tablet Computers


    Im thinking about buying a tablet. Can anyone recommend what type to buy? Shoud I stick to apple or go for android or maybe a blackberry playbook?

    The answer to that is going to depend on what ecosystem you're tied to (or if you're tied to one at all), and what are the important factors to you when considering a new tablet. You might want to list your 2 or 3 "must have" features in a tablet, what price range you're thinking about, and such. That'll probably get a lively discussion going :).

    I bought a Toshiba Thrive 10.1" screen tablet with full size ports and ability to replace or have a back up battery.
    Came with Honey Comb and we have developers on our forum who have made different ROMS so you can root it and change it to ICS or Jelly Bean OS.
    The reason I bought this particular tablet was having the ability to run my tablet the way I want it and not be limited to the manufactures specs.
    Paid around $250 for it and have not any issues with it. If one does we have developers that can get you out of
    trouble and back to enjoying your tablet.
