Windows 7: error 0xc0000374 "A problem has caused the program to stop working"

Those specs are fine.

In command prompt run:

sfc /scannow

see if anything strange comes up.

Nothing is impossible Just run the memory test on it as in the link above and post back and let us know how you got on.
