F: is your DVD drive?
Does it also happen with other DVD's?
The scsi error 0x2 means the device is not ready, check on windows if that drive is available
You did try "Retry" I assume(?) What happens if you click "Ignore"?
Open Decrypter, click on Tools, then Settings
Click on Defaults, then select these;
General tab
Options - Removal Method - Aggressive
File Mode tab
Options - Remove PUOs (IFO and/or VOB)
ISO Read Mode tab
Options - Remove PUOs (IFO and/or VOB)
CSS tab
CSS Cracking Method - Brute Force ~> I/O Key Exchange
On Failure - Yes
IMPORTANT:
I/O tab
Options - Ignore read errors.
This is an excellent setting for dealing with scratched discs which may cause ripping problems.
Hi Trendy,
DVD Decrypter is quite dated and Lightning_UK had abandoned development long ago.
Why don't you try the free DVDFab HD Decrypter and check whether you are still getting any error?
The most powerful DVd decrypter and Blu-ray decrypter, DVDFab HD Decrypter, Free to decrypt DVD and Blu-ray, free to Copy DVD and Blu-ray.
( User's responsibility to comply with any local laws. Even DVDFab website says so. :) )
Yes the above comment is right i was doing some research and its long out of date and there's no update's to be found. Many people had the same problem as you, but some even had the latest verison out and still have the problems. Your's is a small bit older. But I recommend moving to the link above which is better as the still are running it.
This link should help you
How to rip a DVD with DVDFab HD Decrypter - YouTube
Thanks all,I did eventually got around the DVDFab decrypter.
I also have DVDFab 9 full licence,Having trouble with the DVD drives.Have two drives one is D other is F the both are not very old but the D drive will not fire up when disc inserted the F is okay both are the same make. That may be some prob with dvd fab?.
Have uninstalled them both then reboot but no luck.Is it advisable to buy very good ones or cheapy ones what do the forums people say.
Any help would be grateful
Thanks.
Em i wouldn't think that would cause one not to work if you could try switching the cable around and making D, F and F, D if that makes sense.
