You will have to reinstall the apps.

Why is this a problem ?

Let me guess, they came with the pc ?

What year of office is it ? Just get the key from it.

Unless you can find those programs somewhere, and get your keys you`re pretty much screwed.

Or as Leonard would say: "What would you be if you were wrapped helically around an inclined plane".

    ( screwed )

See that is the thing, it's not really the programs that I need but the license from it. But I don't think there is a way of doing that though

Tuneup Utilities will show you your office key.

    There is always a way.

    Have you tried Belarc Advisor?

This is a free program that I've been using for years. It will catalog and display all software, hardware, current updates and license keys for all software installed on the computer.

Check them out at: www (dot) belarc.com/free_download.html

(If i enter the actual URL, the link shows as 2 or 3 lines long)

Once you run the report, print it and you'll have a full hard-copy report of everything on that computer.

Which MS Office do you have? If you have a Product Key those programs are available online to download. If you have to use a torrent be sure to read the comments and avoid getting one with a crack or anything else added. After install just insert the Product Key.

The PC maker may have provided downloads for them on the Applications and Drivers disk, or check on the Support Downloads webpage for your model PC for software. You can extract these from HP Recovery Disks using https://www.sevenforums.com/installat...tml#post488270
